Farallon Selected as P-TAP 6 Vendor for Pavement Management

Pavement Management Technical Assistance Program (P-TAP) provides Bay Area jurisdictions with assistance and expertise in implementing and maintaining pavement management systems. Farallon was selected as a qualified P-TAP 6 consultant and vendor for their work integrating ArcSDE with MTC’s “StreetSaver” pavement management system.

Integrating GIS and pavement management systems such as StreetSaver, allows Farallon to do real-time dynamic segmentation of pavement data from an MS SQL enterprise geodatabase. This means that, instead of generating a snapshot of the streets and re-segmenting them to match the pavement management system, Farallon’s solution creates on-the-fly and dynamic views into the relationships between pavement attributes and the street GIS data.

As a selected P-TAP vendor Farallon has integrated GIS with pavement management for Sonoma County and is currently working on a project for the City of Santa Rosa.
